The hydraulically balanced R58B are suitable for high pressure application. Pusher type seals use a sliding secondary seal and in this design the PTFE wedge or elastomeric ‘O’ Rings is pushed along the outside diameter of the equipment shaft or sleeve. The wedge / ‘0’ Ring retains the sealed liquid and follows along the shaft to compensate for seal face wear. These types of seals is designed and used for petroleum product.
